Traveler's Wonderland

As I said before, my favorite type of people are the one who is saying „Yes“ whenever you asked them to join you on a trip. Anita is that kind of a person, the one who doesn't miss an opportunity to travel and explore. As you all know, Ena, is in Prague as part of student exchange program. Visiting her was perfect alibi for our little trip. But why only visit Prague when you can go to Budapest too?

They say wherever you are and whatever you do on March 22, make it about water. Why? Because this date is saved as World Water Day and it is all about taking action to tackle the water crisis. And why is it so important? Well, even today, 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water contaminated with faeces, putting them at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. When you hear about this, you get a desire to take action, am I right? But how to do that? It's easy to talk about how sorry you are about the situation, but actually doing something...

 When my mum asked over the phone: "Is everything ok, you seem a bit dull?", it was then that I realized that weather actually does affect me and that I couldn't survive in Denmark, for example. It was so gloomy and rainy for a while now, and it wasn't even a real rain. It seemed like clouds were just drooling over the city and calling those earthworms out on the sidewalk. How the hell is there so much of them in the city?! I felt like I'm witnessing a worm massacre while the people were casually walking over them, like nothing was there. I swear, you couldn't make a step without realizing they are right under your foot, and there's nothing you can do about it. It was horrifying. So imagine my jubilance when the Sun popped out on the horizon. Instant happiness, I tell you. Pop those sunglasses on, and let's go sun dipping. Where better than at one of few islands on Vltava? I chose Shooters Island for this occasion, and I made the right choice. The...

Where to start? Maybe with the fact that I keep trying to call and pet Czech cats, but they won't come to me. I am angry with Czech cats. Besides that, everything else is peachy peach. You probably wonder if I do anything but partying and dancing around Prague. Well, yes, as a matter of fact I do. I actually study here :O

What do you do when you first come to a new city? Go to the parties and fests to meet new people, of course! Why? Well, cause going sightseeing first is just to mainstream. „You should come to the festival, it's really fun and I'm gonna be working there, might get you in for free.“. It's a great thing to have an awesome buddy who takes you to interesting places first night of your stay. Sipping beer in one of the underground pubs downtown, my buddy and I bonded over our ambition and love for travel, making plans for my next exploration quests along.

You know that feeling you get when you've spent all of your college/uni years encouraging others to go abroad for volunteering, internships, exchanges and stuff, but then they tell you something like: »Well,that's great. Where did you go?«, and you go blank... Well, it's time to change that. Now, officially, I'll have that experience on my own so you »inside the comfort zone« guys won't have any more excuses to stay there. I will share all of my quests, ups and downs, and the whole life changing experience. Through this, I will hopefully motivate you all to finally get out of that comfort zone and have a time of your life! P.S. you'll also get all of the Prague insides, things you can see and do, beside the popular touristic spots, cause insides are much more satisfying than the crowds at top 10 Prague places
